Large range of aluminum thresholds for insulated facades and plaster

Adam Matériaux offers a wide range of aluminum thresholds

Choosing an aluminum threshold for an insulated facade with a rendered finish can be an excellent option due to its durability, weather resistance, and ease of maintenance. Here are some points to consider when choosing an aluminum threshold for this type of project:

1. Durability and strength : Aluminium is a robust and corrosion-resistant material, making it an ideal choice for thresholds exposed to external elements such as rain, wind and sun.
2. Render compatibility : Ensure the aluminum threshold is compatible with the facade's render. Some types of render may require special precautions during threshold installation to ensure proper adhesion.
3. Thermal insulation : Some aluminum thresholds are designed with thermal insulation features to reduce heat loss through the threshold, which can help improve the energy efficiency of the insulated facade.
4. Design and aesthetics : Aluminum thresholds are available in a variety of styles and finishes to harmonize with the overall facade design. Be sure to choose a threshold that complements the aesthetics of your project.
5. Professional installation : To ensure correct and secure installation, it is recommended to use professionals experienced in installing aluminium thresholds, especially if it is an insulated facade where additional precautions may be necessary to ensure sealing and insulation.
6. Easy maintenance : Aluminium is a low-maintenance material, generally requiring periodic cleaning to remove accumulated dirt and debris.

In summary, an aluminum threshold can be a wise choice for an insulated facade with a rendered finish due to its durability, weather resistance, and ease of maintenance. Be sure to choose a suitable model based on your project's specific needs and have the threshold installed by qualified professionals to ensure optimal performance.
