Installation of LO-AL 103mm type aluminum
The ALU LO-AL 103mm starter corner pieces will be installed approximately 10mm above the existing ground level , in order to create a separation between the facade assembly and the ground and to limit rising damp as well as direct exposure to rainwater and runoff.
Adjustment shims of 1 to 15mm will be used to ensure the leveling of the LO-AL ALU starting angles in relation to the existing ground and to compensate for any irregularities in the existing ground.
5mm yellow spacers will be placed between the wall and the LO-AL ALU starting angles , in order to maintain a 5mm space allowing the correct gluing of the high density EPS Adam Matériaux. panels
The ALU L-AL 103mm starter angles will be mechanically fixed to the concrete block facade using Koelner FX-L 6 × 60mm hammer-in anchors , with appropriate spacing in accordance with the implementation instructions.
Use 30mm connectors to join two 103mm L-AL aluminum starter angles to prevent problems with expansion and subsequent cracking.
The LE-G drip-stop Bavette corner pieces must now be clipped onto the LO-AL aluminum corner pieces
Adam Matériauxhigh-density EPS insulation panels:
Installation of high-density (HD) graphite EPS Adam Matériaux insulation panels , 100mm thick , with grey glue Adam Matériaux .
The panels will be laid edge-to-edge, with alignment and layout ensuring continuity of insulation and good flatness of the facade assembly.
The cuts, adjustments, fittings and treatments necessary at corners, openings, junctions and singular points are included in the production.
Special requirements:
The implementation of a high-density EPS (HD) Adam Matériaux, combined with ALU LO-AL starter angles, is mandatory in this configuration in order to protect the lower part of the facade complex against water splashes, runoff, humidity and mechanical stresses to which this area is particularly exposed.
The entire implementation must be carried out in accordance with the technical specifications of the manufacturer Adam Matériaux, the recommendations relating to the various accessories used and the rules of good practice.
