Rock wool remains one of the most widely used insulators for insulating partitions, ceilings, walls, roofs and floors of homes for thermal insulation but especially acoustic insulation.
If you are looking to reduce or stop outside noise, noise from neighbors or to partition the interiors of your home, we strongly recommend purchasing rock wool in rolls or panels depending on your needs.
The more rigid and compressed the rock wool insulation, the better its acoustic performance. Rock wool can be easily installed in roofs, and rolls and panels can be easily laid on the floors of unused attics, as well as in ceilings between wooden beams or within aluminum profile systems for partition walls.
We also offer exterior rock wool insulation to be placed between concrete blocks and brick or stone, as well as a very rigid version for applying a finishing coat of plaster. We recommend installing a vapor barrier after the rock wool insulation is in place, and therefore before installing the plasterboard or wood finish. We also suggest purchasing a mineral wool cutting knife, which will make insulating your home even easier and more effective.
All you have to do now is choose the thicknesses and quantities you need!
